Founded and led by an industry expert Rui Torres with over 35 years of experience in heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration, Rack Air-Conditioning Services is built on a strong foundation of technical knowledge and hands-on expertise. Our director brings a deep understanding of HVAC systems, project management, and on-site execution, ensuring every job is completed with precision, safety, and professionalism.
Our Journey
Established in 2008, Rack Air-Conditioning Services has delivered high-quality HVAC solutions across Gauteng for over a decade. From small-scale jobs to large commercial projects, we specialise in the supply, installation, and supervision of chilled water piping, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems. Our team, many of whom have been with us since inception, are known for their reliability, flexibility, and commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget—always with minimal disruption to our clients’ environments.
Extending our Capabilities
In 2016, we identified the need for complementary insulation services and launched Rock Insulation to provide tailored thermal solutions for our clients. This was followed by the formation of our dedicated refrigeration team in 2017, allowing us to offer complete HVAC and refrigeration services—from split units and VRV systems to cold and freezer room installations, as well as ongoing maintenance. These expansions reflect our commitment to innovation, quality, and meeting the full spectrum of our clients' needs.
